My acrylic on canvas painting of one of the distinctive boat sheds at Lindisfarne harbour in Northumberland's beautiful coastal region. There are lines of these re-purposed herring boats by the harbour shore, upturned and converted for storage, some seeming to have been gentrified, others, like the one depicted here, crouching humbly in this mystical landscape. A chaotic array of fishing equipment lies about, adding to the atmosphere of confusion in the middle of calm.

This painting is mounted in a mahogany coloured canvas 'floater' frame that features a 5mm shadow gap between the edge of the canvas and wood of the frame. This is unglazed and ready to hang.
